Are the kits suitable for cyclone areas?

The kits have been engineered for Cyclonic or Non-Cyclonic areas.

Are plans supplied with the kit?

Fully Engineered plans and scaled drawings are supplied. These are ready to submit to your Building Certifier or Council.

What is supplied with the Kit?

All materials and fixings are provided to allow the kit to be constructed to “Lock Up” stage. See our detailed list on the “Kit” page.

What does “Lock Up” mean?

Lock up is the stage that the house is completed externally with sheeting, windows and doors. Internally there is only structural flooring, custom orb ceiling and internal wall framing.

What materials are used in the Kits?

Structure Duragal RHS with galvanised battens, purlins, girts, joists and bearers
Roofing Zincalume or colorbond custom orb.
External walls Metal cladding in the profile and colour of your choice with flashings.
Windows Aluminum framed sliding or louvred windows colour powder coated.
Internal Frames Metal raking wall frames.
Ceiling Custom orb sheeting on the rake.
Internal Flooring Ply tongue and groove sheet flooring with CFC to “wet areas”
Verandahs Hardwood Decking.

Can we extend or add on to the kit at a later stage?

Additional fixings will need to be welded or bolted to the existing frame and then extended or added from there making it a relatively simple process.

Do you organise finance?

Finance can be arranged to approved purchasers through the Home North Scheme, Banks or other lending authorisations. If you would like further information regarding finance please contact our office.

Is insulation supplied?

Aircell insulation is supplied for the roof of the living area and for all external walls that do not have an overhang or verandah.
Sisalation is provided for all external walls that do have an overhang or verandah.

What size are your kits?

Our designs range from 2 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms with rumpus or office. However we are able to accommodate smaller or larger designs to suit your requirements.

Can we modify your designs?

Our designs can be modified to suit your needs provided the design fits within our building system.

Can we have colours of our choice?

You can choose your colour choice for the windows, external sheeting and flashings and there is a wide range of colours to choose from.

What is the time period once the design has been decided on?

Once the sketch plan has been approved it will take approximately two weeks for the preparation and engineering of plans to be completed.
