FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the River Range suitable for cyclone areas? Yes. Our designs have been engineered for Cyclonic or Non-Cyclonic areas.

Are plans included in the price? Yes. All plans, including engineering, energy efficiency and certification, are included in the price.

Can we build a new home on a block with an existing home? There are guidelines that apply to building a secondary building on a block. Generally, the building must be fifty square meters or under. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Can we extend or add on to the design at a later stage? Yes. A substantial part of our business is extending onto our River Range homes. We can extend with extra living areas, breezeways, verandahs carports etc.

Do you organise finance? We can help you arrange finance through Banks or other lenders. If you would like further information regarding finance please contact our office. We also supply relevant information on exploring the First Home Owners Grant and other Government Grants.

Is insulation supplied? Insulation is supplied for the roof of the main home or total living area and for all external walls. Joins are taped to provide a vapour barrier. This contributes to all our homes having a five star energy rating.

What size are your homes? Our designs range from a one bedroom granny flat to four bedroom family homes with a rumpus room. However, we are able to accommodate smaller or larger designs to suit your requirements.

Can we modify your designs? Our designs can be modified to suit your needs provided the design fits within our building system.

Can we have colours of our choice? You can choose your colour choice for tiles, joinery finishes, windows and external sheeting.

Are your homes 'Kit Homes'? No. We fabricate all steel external frames at our Darwin premises and full construction is carried out on site. We can supply Kits in most of our designs for the Owner Builder.
